USIC President Christophe Parel, General Secretary Miroslav Kaprálek and Treasurer Peter Lienhard presented information for the period since the General meeting in May of this year in Bratislava. The members of the Board welcomed the new CTT Chairman among themselves. The up to now Chairman Sébastien Picca had resigned for personal reasons and the USCF has nominated Sylvain Helard to this position.
After the evaluation of the 2025 sporting events, great attention was paid to the preparation of the USIC international championships, which are on the sports calendar for 2026, i.e. Football, Angling, Tennis and Cross country. In particular, it is necessary for all countries to decide quickly and definitively on their participation and for the organizers to be able to start preparing the championships.
In the next part of the meeting, the start of the preparation of the next General meeting, which will be held on 19-22.5.2026 in Nuremberg, was discussed. The agenda includes, among others, the elections of the USIC Management, Auditors and CTT members. The General Secretary reported on the current status of submitting proposals for candidates for individual positions.
