The sports organization of Italian railway workers (Associazione Nazionale DLF) organized the jubilee 60th General meeting of USIC between 22nd and 23rd of May 2024 in the town of Gaeta. Delegates from 13 countries were welcomed by the President of the organization, Mr. Giuseppe Tuscano, and also by the Mayor of Gaeta, Mr. Cristian Leccese. 

USIC President, Christophe Parel chaired the meeting. The report of the General Secretary, the annual financial statement for the year 2023 and the draft budget for the year 2025 were approved at regular points of the agenda. 
After approving some changes in the USIC Statutes and in Internal Rules of Procedure, the Chairman of the CTT informed about sports matters. In April 2024, the Futsal championship was held in the Czech Republic, and this year there will still be Orienteering championship in Switzerland, Badminton in Poland, Marathon in Bulgaria and Volleyball in Germany.
Elections were also on the agenda of the General meeting. Christophe Parel from France was elected again as the President of USIC for the next term, and the following were elected to other positions:

The next General meetings will be held in 2025 in Slovakia, in 2026 in Germany and in 2027 in India. 
The USIC President thanked colleagues from Italy, who are celebrating the 100th anniversary of their organization next year, for the very good organization of the General meeting, and at the end the USIC Anthem was played.
